What's on your mind?  This makes me very angry because preventative measure could've been taken to prevent this disaster.  However, you never know if every measure was taken a fire can still happen.  Please say a prayer for her and her family also the dogs that passed away too.  Also, the firefighters that fought the fire and anyone injured helping them escape the fire.

At 8:45 p.m., Marion County Fire Rescue firefighters arrived at 4475 N.E. 38th Terrace, the home of Sigreid Dottie Bigos, 75. Half the home and the entire garage were ablaze.
Firefighters kicked in the front door, which was blocked by numerous dog cages, and found Bigos lying about 8 feet inside. It remains unclear whether the cages were stored there or she was trying to get them out of the burning home.
Firefighters carried the woman outside. When paramedics and emergency medical technicians examined her in the front yard, she was pronounced dead, spokeswoman Miranda Iglesias said.
Iglesias said one firefighter suffered a knee injury during the rescue attempt. She also said the State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
Bigos sold dogs from her home, a white double-wide along the sparsely populated street dotted with mobile homes. She called her operation Sand Hill Kennel.
A neighbor, Tom Harrell, 52, said Bigos took great care of her animals and even had an air-conditioned garage where many of the dogs were kept. He said the dogs barked a lot, but he did not mind because she was a good neighbor.
“She was a great lady,” Harrell said. “She was active. She could run four young people into the ground” when it comes to daily physical activity.
Harrell said Bigos shipped the dogs to buyers all around the country. He said she would do anything for anyone and she really loved her animals."

Good Morning!

What's on your mind?

This morning while I was sleeping, I felt some legs scaling the side of the bed.  Before I could open up my eyes, it was Lexi licking my face!  If she could tell time, I wouldn't need an alarm clock!  Right now Miss Lexi is by my side, Coco is still on her pillow sleeping and Streets may be upstairs but I'm not sure yet.  It's funny because a dog can make the bottom of your bed an apartment for themselves!
